So much emphasis in sports today is placed on attributes such as speed, strength, power and agility. These are all very important aspects to any sport. So how does an athlete go about developing these attributes? Many people hit the gym and start lifting weights. Some start working on sprinting up hills, running around cones or jumping off plyometric boxes. But the question to ask is: Do you know your weakest link? At Change Sports Physical Therapy Institute we help you focus your strength and conditioning efforts in order to develop as an athlete. The first thing we will do is run you through the Functional Movement Screen. Once we have found your weakest link, we will develop a training program for you to develop as an athlete. This is a program where you can do on your own, or under our supervision. Another benefit of getting screened, is that we can pick up any issues you have in your mobility or stability which could develop into injuries in the future. There are many strength and conditioning companies and programs out there. Our purpose is to provide you with the information necessary to develop as an athlete. You don't need to do your training here, but make sure you are addressing your weakest link. Once your movement patterns are addressed, we work on improving your speed, agility, power, change of direction, reaction and more. Call today to get started
